CFE-DGC-DCA. Harold William MALTBY, b. 3322, 1930 (Harold 8, Wm.J.7, Norman 6, John 5, Wm.4, Jos.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). Before me is a newspaper picture of Harold, headed:

"A 5-year-old Lifesaver."

"If there are any swimmers to be saved, count on Harold William Maltby, 5 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Maltby, of Sedalia, Mo. Adept as a seal in the water, Harold William has received a Red Cross lifesaving beginners button for passing the amazing tests. The little boy is shown swimming on his back and towing his instructor, Emmett Trader, Jr., across the Liberty Park swimming pool. Harold William is the youngest swimmer at the pool and one of the youngest ever to receive the lifesaving button. He dives, swims the overhand stroke and can float.

Two years ago he was given the highest score in his class at the State fair clinic."

Believed to be unmarried.
